was warded into NUH on wednesday 5am after experiencing a sudden bout of immense, unbearable pain in my abdomen at 1am. apparently, it was later found out that my appendix had turned gangrenous and ruptured after physical examination and ultrasound. had a successful op on wednesday 9pm-11pm, though the recovery process was a rather painful one and finally discharged today at 12.30pm.
Thank God for sustaining me throughout this entire experience and nullifying the pain which i should have felt as even the doctors were not 100% sure that I was having an appendicities till they chopped it off. Without his grace and abidance, I'm sure I would not have survived through that 2 entire days of no food and drinks, that aching joint and muscle pains from lying on that bed for too long a time, and that urine catheter which was horribly horribly horrible.
With 3 holes on my abdomen and the inability to walk and eat as usual, all i can hope for is a quicker recovery and that I would be able to catch up with my IB workload soon -_-
