A blog is a space where u supposedly reveal your secretest thoughts & emotions dan vent your frustrations. I still refuse to believe in such transparency.
There are things that I want to say to my class; to individuals, groups and gangs perhaps. Obviously, these things are not nice things to hear. And of course, being me, I dare not say such things to my target audience. Its my character i guess. And who am I to say such things? Im no class comm or any significant person who sticks with 1/2 the class for at least 3 subjects, just a nooby show-off photographer, poser first-aider, just someone who takes slack, useless subject combis, as many people claim. And maybe a Malaysian some may put it. And of course, due to some biblical truth, eg.
"Judge not, that you be judged. For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? HYPOCRITE! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
Matthew 7 : 1-3, 5
Yes, and so here is where my specialty comes in; holding the line. 人不可貌相,海水不可斗量. Yeah, I love chinese. Unfortunately, it may get quite tiring. I guess theres a reason why I became an ASM for my ex-UYO. Havent got that blood pumping through my veins for a long time, and it is getting relatively tempting. That beastly, hulkish feeling is getting more frequent, which is of course saddening to note. Really want to thank God for allowing me to be a TJC christian. If not, John Yu would just be another foul, ravenous creature.
Well, all in all, once that limit breaks, I guess i will have no choice but to take the whole world down.
But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

gravity is very strong
Recently, im starting to get more and more weary. No, not because of IB work. I mean, yes, but no. Cant really complain with such a unique combi of subs such as mine. In fact, looking at my fellow classmates taking double HL sciences, I cant help but feel that im really a dam slack IB student. Man, I better buck up and start having intense revision for my languages at home, and hopefully one day, I will be able to be trillingually fluent...
Ok, time to undeviate and get on track. Yes, im starting to feel tired, of being nice. Yes, being nice. At least for me, being nice is tiring. Not in the sense that I feel motivated to shave a mohawk and start scratching peoples' car with keys or swearing or something along that line. Unfortunately for me, 'Nice' is not my middle name (though its a beautiful country somewhere in Europe) and though i'm somehow known to be nice by a few others for some reason, well, it does comes with some effort really. & for some reason, that sense of niceness is not really that dominant anymore. One thing is true, trying to be nice is tiring.
All humans are double-faced characters. 口是心非 some might say. We act out what we think to be the best act that fits the environment we are in; an entrenched survival instinct possibly. That nicely wrapped present, with who-knows-what within it. Maybe this guy is just attempting to bear the responsibility and merely trying to act out the 'ideal' role of a Christian. Maybe this guy is still trapped in the idealistic world that when you are nice to people, hopefully people will become nice as well and the niceness just spreads on, just as how it only take a spark to get a fire going. Maybe nice isnt that contagious really, just an excuse for making one look nicer. Batman Begins by plunging himself into darkness before emerging from it a Dark Knight with a purpose. Maybe...
Heck, now is not the time for me to claim such fatigueness. This is the ice that i have chosen to walk on. If i fall, i fall.
TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
Will that make all the difference?
Thank you Robert Frost.

fever
Fever! In the morning, fever burning through the night, you give me feeever... (Ironically heard this song along the way to school, must be some foreshadowing technique by GOLD 90.5FM lol... btw whoever has this song by M.Buble, msn me hor)
Yes, was down once again with your standard dose of flu and throat infec. yesterday, which explains my absence (ponning with MC) from school. Well, this morning, supposedly thought I was well and skipped my way to school. Unfortunately, upon lifting tons of onions, asparagus, french fries, cooking pans up 4 levels of stairs while assisting Mr TJ and training what little monoceps i have, a shocking revelation strucked me: Dam, im still sick.
Well, it was too late. Didnt bring my medication. And didnt want to miss the awesomeness of the day by going home. Therefore, i decided to go chinese for once: "以毒攻毒”, fighting poison with poison. As such, during the hustle and bustle of the day's activity, I ignited my inner, remaining chakra with flaming passion and pride & expended them all with fiery indignation in the freezing furnACeS of Dover (whoa i dont even know what im typing abt) And to my surprise, the saying was true. By the end of the day, I was feeling normal and well. Whoa...

a revelation
Alright better write something here to fill up the blanks.
Ok, yesterday was randomly surfing the internet when i somehow landed up in the TJC Singapore site and spotted at the corner of my eye:
Student Theological Training Course 2008
Date: 2 - 24/12/2008
Target: the youths aged 14 -17 years
Please find attached the Tim-table of Student Theolo
Being the typical TJC student theologian, i looked at my calendar, exclaimed "Wah so fast??!!" and immediately clicked that tiny little link at a speed of 1/5000s to satisfy my ravenous curiosity of the profoundly mysterious "Tim-table".
And then, A REVELATION struck me as my eyes were glued to the screen.
Year 2 & 3 students have individual lesson schedules. Which means Yr 2 and 3s dont have the same lesson schedule. Which means they are not going to be sitting in class together. Which means that they will be seperate in different classes. Which means our Year 3 class will be very tiny -.-''' maybe just need the cry-room as our classroom... Well its kinda sad as I was anticipating to experience the atmosphere of robustness and hyper-activeness amidst the air-con strickened main hall on hard, wooden sits with small writing "tables" in my concluding year of student theolo (wow time really flies man)
But oh well, as 1 of my favourite verses goes:
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28
Ya la, so see how it goes. 5 more months encounting. Till then, "to him who overcometh..."
Oh btw to those who currently own PS3s, i seriously recommend getting Devil May Cry 4. Seriously. Ultra nice. Ratings all over give it 9.5/10 minimum. Dam good action adventure. Warning: May cause you to entirely forget the time while streaking up SSS combos and fighting gigantic, full screen size bosses.
3 Upcoming PC games highly anticipated by jyu:
1. Diablo 3 (Classic back to life)
2. C&C: Red Alert 3 (Yes EA Games is becoming very aggresive lately)
3. Medieval 3: Total War (For high GX only)
As they always say: 3rd time's the charm =)
