Theres a peace in my heart that the world never gave,
A peace it can not take away;
Tho' the trials of life may surround like a cloud,
I've a peace that has come there to stay!
Constantly abiding, Jesus is mine;
Constantly abiding, rapture divine;
He never leaves me lonely, whispers, O so kind: ----
"I will never leave thee." Jesus is mine.
"Give unto the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of His holiness. The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace."
Psalms 29: 2, 11
"Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God I will praise His word, In God i have put my trust; I will not fear, What can flesh do to me?"
Psalms 56:3-4

Ecclesiastes 7:8-10

Only in the Church does
Love Grows Here
(music: first from the top)
Take a look around you, tell me what you see
People here to worship the Lord, just like you and me
Some have come in gladness, Some have come with fear
But all have come because they know, that love grows here
Yes love grows here, and all of us can share
the wonder and joy that it can bring
For God is near, teaching us to care
And showing our hearts how to sing
Some of us are lonely, Some have many friends
Some lives just beginning, Some are near the end
Yet we come together, knowing he is near
Once again reminding us, that love grows here
Yes love grows here, and all of us can share
the wonder and joy that it can bring
For God is near, teaching us to care
And showing our hearts how to sing
Yes love grows here
Yes love grows here
.
"In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
Do not fear;
Zion, let not your hands be weak.
The LORD your God is in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
Zeph 3:16-17
.
"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection."
Col 3: 12-14
.
"Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints."
1 Thess 3: 11-13

Truly, love grows here in the true church of God. Amidst these times, why not come more often and experience this joy, this abundance, this blessing?

my first poem =D
I See
I see a refuge in the storm
Which all was swept except one form.
I see a bronze piece standing forth
Which saved one who would see henceforth.
I see a scarlet cord on high
When all but one was doomed to die.
I see a light amidst the night
When one but sought to end the fight.
I see a hill of blood and tears
Where one found rest amidst his fears.
I see a sea of nets been drawn
Where one believed and followed on.
I see a Being who saw them all
And for things unseen refuse to fall.
And now, behold, my inner beast!
Have I but courage to do the least?

Chim? No? Well, poems always have some form/s of meaning behind it so must always read between the lines and understand... (not literally la).
Writing poems is satisfying but writing commentaries on poems = sad : (

prayer
我以祷告来到你跟前
(music: 4th one from the top)
.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
.
"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
James 5:14-16
James 5:14-16
.
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
Matthew 21:21-23
.
"But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!"
Psalm 66:19-20
