"This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it."
Alas, after numerous months of FAC trainings, countless hours of toils and lectures, and immeasurable amounts of sweat lost and effort put in, it has come to this day, the 2007 SJAB National First Aid, Drill and TOC(Transportation of casualty) Competition, the last competition i would ever attend in my sjab life. If the Lord wills, I truly hope to bring a large trophy this time back to the school to bring honour and glory to ACS(I) SJAB. However, facing the other top 9 best schools in Singapore and the aspect that ACS(I) has never won a trophy in national compy for maybe a decade or more, is this mere thought of winning nothing more than a dream?
"Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?
Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.
Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies."
Psalms 108:10-13
Please pray for the 2 teams in my school participating in this competition, that we may bring glory and honour to our trainers, teachers, corp, school and of course, God.
With God, all things are possible.
on a side note... i think my left arm kenna some ulnar nerve damage after today's TOC training, now having claw hand(4th and 5th finger) after each time i grip my hand. Pray that i recover fast so i can carry about 90kg of load!
