10++ years have passed... and it has finally come to this day. ACS(I) has finally brought a grand trophy from National compy home. I truly wish to thank all the teachers who have spent time and effort to help and assists us in our training, all trainers (from JC/IB to NS to watevers after NS) for really spending so much of your time training a bunch of slackers who can only make holes in the ceiling and crack lame jokes, my team members, well for being my wonderful team members in this wonderful team which im truly proud of, the supporters for supporting us even though some of you who werent really there to support us, and last but not least God, for listening to our prayers and guiding us through each and every section of the competition for without Him, all this would truly not have been possible.
"You, whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you, 'You are my servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away:
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, i will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.' "
Isaiah 41:9-10
What a nice way to end off my sjab term.

Btw, a brief sypnopsis of the 4 components:
1. Drill --> Well, everything's pretty much the same; the sequence, boundary etc. Only interesting thing that the judge commented on was our boots lol. So shiny in the sun that they were all he could see lol.
2. Short Case --> Hmm encountered only 1 casualty in some extreme biking competition and some annoying crowd. Sustained left clavicle fracture, right closed tibial fracture and left patella close fracture and dislocation. Wow, must be a really NOOB cyclist. Treatment was quite ok... luckily i did not move his broken knee and tie lower body immobilisation if not confirm GG!!
3. TOC --> Wah lao casualty dam light la! Anyways, route was quite simple and straight forward. Had to go across 1 stable table, under some barbed wire and down a long flight of stairs. The only trouble was getting used to the new timing and the loading of cas. to the bloody ambulance... but luckily i rammed the joint with my knee so could collapse and push the stretcher into the vehicle muahaha.
4. Long Case --> Woohoo, most interesting and exciting and a first ever. Initially, found 1 casualty with stab wound on abdomen and bleeding like xiao(applaud to make-up ppl). Then 1 big dude who was like stoning beside me started choking on a tiny fishball and had to attend to him. Went from conscious choking to unconscious choking and then respiratory arrest then cardiac arrest. Then, 1 noob crowd from hwa chong came and 'stabbed' my team leader on his chest causing penetrating chest wound and he became another casualty for us to treat lol. Thankfully, we were still calm and cool despite losing our team leader.
