Went to Alor Star in the northern state of Kedah, Malaysia, about 800km away from Singapore (yes we drove there) during CNY for visiting & stopped by Pulau Pinang along the way.

Tokong Ular or Snake Temple in Penang. Yes, the snakes do run around freely.
Ascending Bukit Bendera, the highest hill in Penang.

Ipoh hills along North-South Highway.
Was looking out for the partial solar eclipse, but found this instead
