new addition

Recently, my dry box (air-tight box with humidifier) is getting a little cramped.

Yep, because of that thing. So fat, occupy almost half of the space.

Introducing D80 + MB-D80 grip. Got them 2nd hand fresh (ok maybe not so fresh) from the online market. Saw a relatively good deal there and so, well, cant help it la =) Well, basically its better than the D40x (spec-wise) and better control for those M shots, grip also aids in vertical shots. Only complain is slightly heavier now so have to train my fingers and biceps more. Yet to bring it for heavy-duty testing, but im sure (ok i hope) i wont regret!!

Ok nows the time to raise flag to 1/2 mast and salute my D40x for its valour and service these past few months, for having shot at least 3000 pictures in the many fields of duty: school, class, birthdays, church, farewells, trips, and all other memorable events, be it glam, unglam, or random, and surviving to tell the tale, without failing me and dying in the middle of a route march or 2.4km walk.

**trumpet sounds** Lets have 1 minute of silence...

Ya i know you just skipped all the way here. See, dun show respect and appreciation for all it has done taking sneak and unglam shots of you. ZZZzzz

Well, lets just hope that the next level will be reached with the D80!!(Nirvana is with D3) Probably will be taking less shots now with the advent of T3 and the coming T4 (no not the changi airport ones) so hope i wont lose my touch (if i even have any in the first place) if not I better get a HTC Touch and start learning touch rugby.

Sorry, intense mugging cripples you. (makes you lame)

Oh btw, those of you who like burning your time away with anime should really watch Code Geass : Lelouch of the Rebellion and the currently running Code Geass R2. (I watch mine on animecrazy.net) A really cool and intruiging anime where 1 brilliant and intelligent high-school student assembles his rebel army and eventually his own empire to resist the Holy Empire of Britannia (whose emperor so happens to be his father who abandoned him) with the power of the Geass (he's so brilliant, his empire started in a small room on enemy soil with diplomatic immunity). Expect those death-note kind of amazing plotting by the protagonist as he wipes away his vast adversaries when all hope seems lost and gundam style mech fighting when the 2 armies (and more) collide.

Serious. Go watch, wont regret. Only thing maybe is that you may fail Mid-Years cheonging all the current episodes =)
