WoW its

week 8 already. YEAH. time really flies when you are stoning. Mid-Yr SM, B Sem, Hols, wo yao lai liao!!

2 more weeks of school before going to Fuzhou for our WoW trip. Nope, we are not going to visit Blizzard Entertainment studio in China or attempt to curi the olympic torch. WoW = Window On the World, i.e. 7 days of CIP and kampung living. At least the kampung living part is for those more suay/shiok classes, my class will be staying in a church hostel. Its cheaper that way, and a good reason to bring the Bible and expound. Ok, i think i need my eng-chi dictionary.

And of course, a good opportunity as well to test out my PPCP Pro V2 + sb600 + pocket bouncer, not forgetting my new (ok 2nd hand is not so new) 50mm f1.8!!


The power in the f1.8 is to blur the surrounding background by alot (also known in photographic term as bokeh. dunno why sounds hokkienish to me) and focus only on the part metered, in this case the end of the zip. Btw, your compact cameras have a large f number, so everything is more or less focused. Expect uber portrait and other photos with this cool and very cheap lens!

Apa ini?? Well, its a lizard (or whats left of it), that is the most suay lizard of the hundreds in my house, that got squashed flat when the wind blew my door shut. Thats like being struck by lightning with Michael Jordan tip-toeing beside you. Yeah, tough luck.
