But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

WoW its time.

Yep. Its time for WoW (Windows on/of the World). Overseas CIP into hills, mountains, forests, jungles, cities, or villages depending on how lucky you are. Well, my class will be going to Fuzhou from Fri 23/5 - Thurs 29/5 and help out in a school supposedly on the mountains. Our tasks include teaching the children there english, renovating their library, planting trees, and whatever thats not in the timetable given. Being chosen to be the class photographer(why am i not suprised), i guess this will be a good opportunity to test out my lenses and skills i have acquired over the past few months, so expect some great pictures (i hope) when we return. Also being designated as class 1st-aider (why am i still not surprised), i really hope that nothing happens la :) A boring, no action first aid duty is always the best. Also hope that my first aid competition skills is not lost yet muahaha

Well, fortunately/unfortunately, our living conditions there will be quite nice with beds and possibly air-con i think. Heard from some of my friends going other places like Bintan and Thailand that they will b living in those kampungs in the middle of the forests with like not really proper facilities (sleeping bags, well water etc.) and will be engaging in alot of literally down to earth activities (like digging and installing water pipes). I guess you may find me weird, but i really want to go those kind of places. Places where you slog & work in the dirt, engage in hard labour, lead a hard life; places where you get to know each other much better as u suffer under the sun, where true friendship is forged, where the true spirit of CIP and CAS emerges. Oh well, i shall not complain any further, but look forward to this overseas CIP trip to Fuzhou, for I know the plans You have for me, plans of welfare and not of evil, plans to prosper and not to harm, plans of hope and a future.

Guess this will conclude my post of the week. Please pray for the various Year 5 classes in ACS(Independent) who will be embarking on different trips all over the world for the next 7 days, that God will guide and bless us throughout the entire journey, that He will qwell the rumblings of the earth and silence the roars of the skies and seas, that we will truly have an enriching, enjoyable and unforgettable WoW trip.

"God is our refuge, and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried in to the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge."
Psalm 46:1-3, 11
