Well, just came back from a 2D1N TJC youth outing to Malacca. I have to say it was a pretty short but thoroughly enjoyable and meaningful weekend spent across the causeway. Truely, thank God for giving me this opportunity to venture out and have fellowship with fellow brethrens and for his grace and blessings showered upon us throughout this trip. Here are some interesting things that happen:
Upon arrival after lunch, since we had like 1 hour break before service, some brothers and I decided to do our little exploring in the hotel.. and we landed on the 24th storey, the highest the lift could take us. Then, we saw a flight of spooky staircase which led us all the way to the secret 26th storey with an abandoned, giganormous, locked, 2-3 storey suite. Of course, along the way, we saw some hair-like ju-on fibres dangling on the ceiling and those scene of mysterious liquid dripping from the ceiling in Dark Waters.. mehh so common no originality. And then, we ended up on the rooftop with an excellent view of the entire malacca (apparently, the 3/4 star hotel was the tallest building around lol). Well, i guess it was worth the trouble.
At night, we went to Jonkees Street for some Pasir Malam (night market) style shopping. We were warmly greeted at the entrance by a Malaysian book of record holder swallowing a mouthful of blazing fire lit on a torch. Yes, and so the entrance was blocked.. Zzzz.. Anyway, it was a typical relatively larged alley lined with stalls selling a wide variety of items, food and accessories.. ok maybe not so wide variety cos after a while they keep on repeating themselves. Well, victor, biwei and I walked the entire mile across the congested causeway, squeezing through the torrent of oncoming traffic, listening to old folks karaokeing in a singing competition, and occasionally taken advantaged off, and finally reached the end of the street. It was then we came to a conclusion... that this was more of a pasir malam for the other gender....... and so we walked all the way back. And was late. And almost missed the bus. Lol.
Well, i dun think i should continue writing anymore.. think most of you would have fallen asleep after reading this non-amusing, non-humourous, grandfather story...

Wow, my sarcasm is acting up again. Really sorry, picked that up in ACS, just like the other few thousands that had.
