1. Found out today that i am actually allergic to NSAIDs!!!!(non-steroidical anti-inflammatory drugs) Allergic reaction on both eyes!! hwaaaaaa both eyes swell like xiao until cannot open like dat. Thankfully lady doctor gave me some steroids wooo (take 6 pills at 1 go!!) and after a few hours the eyes slowly started to unswell.
With a pair of shades on to cover my swollen eyes, I decided to go Marina Bay to catch National Day Celebrations 07 with bro bi wei and JY ppl.
Wah i tell u, when i got there (5+pm) , super crowded la! Walkways were all so crowded and squeezy. Side lanes of the roads had to be used as walkways. Policemen everywhere directing traffic and shouting at ppl. Wah and i tell u, in order just to get to One Fullerton from Fullerton hotel (just across 1 road), i spent like 25 mins!! Police block off all the pedestrain crossings, nearest overhead bridge under repair, nearest working pedestrian crossing is like 1km away and human traffic moving at 2km/h. Furthermore, police barricaded off ALL entrances leading to the merlion walk from One Fullerton!! Thankfully, managed to convince a female police officer to let me through haha and finally met the ppl there after 30 mins.
Wah Thank God we were at quite a good spot. Though we couldnt really see much of the celebrations going on in the platform and the fireworks from the top of the 3 buidlings, we got really close to the helicopters and those floating balloon thingys. But, the best part was the fireworks haha. They were like literally exploding right in front of us and could even feel every single time they burst in mid-air. Wah, really dam beautiful, dam nice.
Hmm ok set. next year gather like 20 ppl and book 1 room at some hotel facing marina. Haha.
